I strive to create images that are authentic to the scene in which they were taken. In todays climate with AI “art” as well as government overreach into media, I feel that authentic storytelling is essential.

Why Film Photography is Important to Me

In an ever-changing digital landscape I feel that film brings a more tangible or “real” feeling to my work. I find that look/ feeling to be crucial in creating artistic projects where I want to demonstrate the importance of the work.

Celebrating Achievements

Over my photographic career I have been fortunate enough to win several awards. The most notable of which:
• 1st, 2nd, and Honorable Mention at the Coastal Carolina Fair for Photography Division III
• 2 Scholastic gold keys and 1 silver key
• Scholastic American Vision Nominee
• Dorchester District Two Board of Trustees Permanent Collection
• 3x 256 Photo Magazine Publications

The Journey of Kevin’s Korner

Founded by Kevin Tracey a passionate photographer, Kevin’s Korner was created as a brand that is meant to showcase my artistic projects in in a community of artists across the world. This website allows me to carve out my own “korner” in that community of artists and have a space that truly feels like my own.

My obsession

What began as a simple hobby turned into my obsession. Photography has been something where I am able to not only create art, but something that I can pour my whole soul into. This medium has allowed me to express myself in ways that I never thought possible before. It is this obsession that fuels me to create projects that I can truly be proud of.
